Problem Note 49383: The SAS® Stored Process Server does not run properly if the App logger is set to "Trace"
When you run the SAS Stored Process Server, an error occurs when you attempt to retrieve the SAS Stored Process Server log. In addition, the SAS Stored Process Server might not be able to close properly if you attempt to stop it.
For example, the following error is displayed in your web browser when you run the SAS® Stored Process called Sample: Hello World and you use the SAS Stored Process web application:
Stored Process Error
Error obtaining SAS log.
null
This error occurs when you turn on additional logging (by modifying the logconfig.trace.xml and the logconfig.xml files) and you set the App logger to Trace.
To circumvent this problem, enabling logging for the SAS Stored Process Server using the process described in SAS Note 34114, "Creating a detailed SAS® Stored Process Server log by default."
When you experience this problem, you might also find that the SAS Stored Process Server process might not stop running when you stop the SAS object spawner. If the SAS Stored
Process Server process does not stop, then you need to terminate the process.
