Problem Note 49360: SAS® Universal Viewer shows incorrect information about the length of numeric variables
When you open a data set with SAS Universal Viewer, incorrect length information for a numeric variable might be shown. For example, if you open a data set using a number variable that is set to a length of less than 8, when you view the table information, the length column of the variable is shown as 8.
