Problem Note 49177: Procedures that are run using SAS® In-Database give "Base table or view already exists" errors
When you use SAS In-Database to run the procedures DMREG, DMDB, or DMINE, the following error might occur:
TERADATA_12: Executed: on connection 2 62 1350568771 trexec 0 SQL
commit work; 63 1350568771 trexec 0 SQL
64 1350568771 trexec 0 SQL
ERROR: Begin messages from the DBMS.
ERROR: Error code = 3803.
ERROR: SQL state from the DBMS 42S01.
ERROR: Base table or view already exists Table 'olsInfo' already exists.
ERROR: End messages from the DBMS.
TERADATA: trforc: COMMIT WORK 65 1350568776 trforc 0 DMREG
Permanent data tables are created in the database as the procedure runs. The problem occurs when another user ID runs the same procedure concurrently on the same database.
To work around the problem, ensure that multiple user IDs are not running the same procedure at the same time on the same database.
