Problem Note 49040: A "Server Error: An exception occurred" message appears when you try to access the SAS® Credit Scoring for Banking URL
When you access the SAS Credit Scoring for Banking URL, the following error might occur:
Server Error: An exception occurred.
The web application log has an error similar to the following:
ERROR com.sas.solutions.csb.util.DBCPConnectionPool - Failed to get initial connection from
connection pool java.sql.SQLException: Sharenet.S58.ex.txt: Sharenet.S273.ex.txt: Driver could
not open socket. Server: myserver.domain.com port: 8551. Connection refused: connect.
The problem occurs when the SAS server tier, the metadata tier, and the compute tier are separated and installed on separate machines. SAS Credit Scoring for Banking assumes that the share server is located on the metadata tier. However, by default the share server is installed on the compute tier. The problem does not occur when the SAS server tier is deployed to the same machine as the compute tier.
