Problem Note 48972: Reference price used in estimation is incorrectly set to 0 for future active products when REFERENCE_PRICE_TYPE equals 1 (cost) or 3 (regular price)

When using the SAS® Revenue Optimization Suite, the reference price used in estimation is incorrectly set to 0 for future active products when the REFERENCE_PRICE_TYPE model specification equals 1 (cost) or 3 (regular price). This issue occurs when new geo/prods are introduced in the future (in other words, future active) and therefore do not have a current price or cost. Future price and cost information is available but is not correctly being used in estimation.
There is no workaround for this issue.
