Problem Note 48970: You cannot create a copy of an existing forecast analysis scenario successfully

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It

You might not be able to successfully create a copy of an existing forecast analysis (FA) scenario by right-click an existing scenario and selecting Copy scenario in the SAS® Merchandise Configuration Workbench. Below are examples of the problems that the copied FA scenario might have:

  • Model specifications cannot be edited.
  • Product attributes are not saved.
  • DOW attributes are not displayed and are not saved.
  • Fields in the scenario model group editor are empty (but should not have been displayed).

There are no warning or error messages.

You can either work around the problem or download a hot fix.

To work around this issue, create an FA scenario from a model analysis (MA).

Click the Hot Fix tab in this note to access the hot fix for this issue.
