Problem Note 48500: Errors occur when updating table properties using SAS® Data Integration Studio
You might receive the following error when you attempt to update a table in SAS Data Integration Studio:
Error writing metadata: The user does not have
permission to perform this action.
This error occurs if the user performing the update does not have the Writemetadata permission for both the table and the library that are associated with the table.
If the user has Writemetadata permission for the table but not the library, one possible workaround is to perform the update using SAS® Management Console.
