A SAS Data Integration Studio job that uses a Loop transformation for which iterations are executed in parallel might fail with the following error:
ERROR: A link must be established by executing the SIGNON command before you can communicate with node.
The error occurs because one macro variable called CMACVAR is used in the code that is executed in parallel to monitor the status of each of the SAS/CONNECT® sessions. In some circumstances, this can result in an incorrect value of the macro variable, which triggers the preceding error message.
There is currently no circumvention for this problem.
