Access to objects in SAS Enterprise Case Management is controlled using configuration database tables. In the configuration database tables, if you specify a metadata group that has other metadata groups as members, the member groups should be recognized. However, groups that are members of other groups are incorrectly ignored.
If you are a member of a group that belongs to another group, SAS Enterprise Case Management might incorrectly prevent you from accessing some objects.
As a workaround to this problem, you can create a security model that does not have groups within groups.
