Problem Note 48289: An "Unsatisfied code symbol..." error occurs with Teradata Tools and Utilities 13.10 on 64-bit enabled HP-UX systems
When you run Teradata Tools and Utilities (TTU) 13.10 on a 64-bit enabled HP-UX system, one of the following errors might be returned:
ERROR: Could not load /TECH/GOLDEN/RC/HPUX.V93.09B1R3.TS1M1/install/SASFoundation/9.3/sasexe/
sastra (32 images loaded)
ERROR: Unsatisfied code symbol 'do_ipfx__7istreamFi' in load module '/lib/pa20_64/libstd.2'.
ERROR: The SAS/ACCESS Interface to Teradata cannot be loaded. The SASTRA code appendage could not be loaded.
ERROR: Error in the LIBNAME statement.
Or:
ERROR: Teradata connection: MTDP: EM_GSSINITFAIL(235): call to gss_init failed.
ERROR: Error in the LIBNAME statement.
To work around this issue, set the LD_PRELOAD environment variable as follows:
export LD_PRELOAD=libicuiotd.sl:libicuuctd.sl:libicudatatd.sl:libicui18ntd.sl:libCsup.s
l:libstream.sl
Also, ensure that the following environment variable is set:
export SHLIB_PATH=/opt/teradata/client/13.10/tbuild/lib64:/opt/teradata/client/13.10/tdicu/lib_64:
/opt/teradata/client/13.10/lib64:/usr/lib/pa20_64
