Problem Note 48195: Forecasts for short series products might be incorrect

Forecasts for short series products might be incorrect in the SAS® Revenue Optimization Suite. The forecasts for short series product might be incorrect because of the following:
- When there is a like item defined for a short series product, the short series forecasts are combined with the like item forecasts twice.
- When there is no like item defined for a short series product, the forecast does not consider the seasonal index or life-cycle curve factor.
- The forecasts for short series products with like forecasts might be overwritten by the forecasts for short series products with no like forecasts.
There are no errors or warnings.
