Problem Note 48030: Column labels might be truncated to 32 characters when opening a data source into a PivotTable using the SAS® Add-In for Microsoft Office

Column labels that are longer than 32 characters are truncated to 32 characters if you open the table into a PivotTable with the Showing Labels option turned on. The labels are also truncated in the PivotTable Field List.
The only workaround is to use labels that are less than 32 characters.
Click the Hot Fix tab in this note to access the hot fix for this issue at release 6.1_M1. This issue is addressed in release 7.1 without a hot fix.
