Problem Note 48927: A memory leak occurs when you use the SAS® Embedded Process with SAS® Scoring Accelerator for Greenplum
When you run SAS Scoring Accelerator for Greenplum with the SAS Embedded Process, a memory leak occurs. You can verify this by monitoring the SAS Embedded Process (tkgpmain) virtual memory. It increases in size with every invocation of the SAS Embedded Process.
To work around this issue, periodically run the ShutdownSASEP.sh script that is provided with your installation package. Running this script from the Greenplum master node shuts down the SAS Embedded Process on each host node. The next time the SAS Embedded Process is invoked, it is started automatically on each node.
Note that the memory leak does not occur if you run SAS Scoring Accelerator with the static method.
