Installation Note 48716: Updating SAS® BI Dashboard might not remove cached files and folders
If you do not update SAS BI Dashboard using the same user ID that you used to install the previous version, you might experience unexpected behavior with the software. To correct this issue, you must remove the old BI Dashboard cache information, and restart the application server. The cache information is stored in the location identified by "java.io.tmpdir".
On UNIX, the location is typically: /tmp/bidcache
On Windows, the location is typically: /Temp/bidcache
You must remove the entire BIDCACHE directory so that it can be created from scratch.
