Usage Note 48566: A CLI error is issued when you attempt to create and load data into a temporary SQL server table using SAS/ACCESS® Interface to ODBC
The following error message might occur when you attempt to create and load data into a SQL server table.
ERROR: CLI describe error: [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Invalid object name 'tablename': [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL
Server]Statement(s) could not be prepared
This issue might indicate a problem with the version of the ODBC driver being used. In that case, upgrading to the latest release is recommended.
In one situation, a customer resolved the issue by referencing the temporary table using a double pound (##) name instead of a single pound (#) name.
