Problem Note 48532: Data does not import correctly when you use the External File Wizard or the Table Properties window in SAS® Data Integration Studio

In SAS Data Integration Studio, there is a discrepancy in the column length depending on the method that is used to import table columns.

When using the External File Wizard to import columns, the column length is set based on the BeginPosition and EndPosition metadata values that are specified in a format file.
In the Table Properties window, if you delete the columns and reimport them using the same format file, then the column length is shifted one space.

As a result, the data is not read correctly.
