Failures occur when you test SAS Remote Services with the SAS Deployment Tester. These failures happen when you run the tests for implementations of SAS^® Contact Center Planning and Optimization, SAS^® Financial Management, and SAS^® Human Capital Management. These SAS solutions enable the event broker, which is supposed to be disabled in SAS^® 9.3.

To resolve the problem, follow these steps:

1. Open the RSTests_contract.xml file that resides in the directory C:\SAS\Config\Lev1\Web\Applications\RemoteServices\dtest\RemoteServices.
2. In the file, you need to change the following two lines:

   remoteableServicesExpected=LOGGING,AUTH,SESSION,INFO,DISCOVERY,STP,USER
   remoteServicesExpected=LOGGING,AUTH,SESSION,INFO,DISCOVERY,STP,USER

   Change those lines by adding ",EVENT" to the end of the lines, as follows:

   remoteableServicesExpected=LOGGING,AUTH,SESSION,INFO,DISCOVERY,STP,USER,EVENT
   remoteServicesExpected=LOGGING,AUTH,SESSION,INFO,DISCOVERY,STP,USER,EVENT

3. Save the file and rerun the SAS Deployment Tester.
