Usage Note 48481: Using SAS® Enterprise GRC with IBM Tivoli Access Manager WebSEAL as a proxy server causes a redirection loop during logon
When you change SAS® Management Console entries and add WebSEAL junctions to place SAS Enterprise GRC behind the webSEAL proxy server, a redirection loop occurs with the SAS logon. First, you are directed to the Log On to SAS dialog box after you connect to the /SASEnterpriseGRC context root directory. Then, even though you enter the correct user ID and password, you are redirected back to the Log On to SAS dialog box.
This problem only affects SAS Enterprise GRC. All other web applications work as expected.
To resolve this problem:
- Log on to SAS Management Console and select Plug-ins ► Application Management ► Configuration managerEnterprise GRC MidTier.
- Under Configuration manager, right-click Enterprise GRC MidTier
- When the Enterprise GRC Midtier 4.3 Properties dialog box appears, click the Connection tab.
- Add a forward slash to the end of the Service value. By default, the value appears /SASEnterpriseGRC, but it should be /SASEnterpriseGRC/, as shown below.
