Usage Note 48276: An error message might display when closing SAS® Enterprise Guide® in an environment that has installed Adobe Acrobat 9
When you close SAS Enterprise Guide 4.3 or 5.1 in an environment that has installed Adobe Acrobat 9, you might receive an error message that is similar to the following:
SAS Enterprise Guide 4.3 has stopped working
A problem caused the program to stop working correctly.
Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is
available.
There are two possible workarounds for this problem.
- Upgrade Adobe Acrobat to version 10 or later.
- In SAS Enterprise Guide, navigate to Tools ► Options ► Results ► Viewer and change the PDF Viewer to Associated viewer: Adobe Reader.
