Problem Note 47363: "rdui_time_series_histogram.jsl was not found" when running Time Series Analysis using JMP in the SAS® Risk Dimensions® GUI
When you attempt to run a Time Series Analysis report by using the Analysis in JMP® feature in the SAS Risk Dimensions GUI, the report might not be displayed, but the following message appears:
rdui_time_series_histogram.jsl was not found
This message occurs because a necessary JSL script is missing. To circumvent this problem, do the following:
- Determine the location of JSL scripts as follows.
- Execute the following SAS code in a SAS windowing environment on the SAS Risk Dimensions server:
%rdmacros;
- Open the Work.RiskUIProps data set.
- The HOST_JSL_PATH entry in that table identifies the path for the JSL scripts on the SAS Risk Dimensions server.
- Download a copy of the rdui_time_series_histogram.jsl file from the Downloads tab using the filename rdui_time_series_histogram.jsl.
- Save the rdui_time_series_histogram.jsl file to the JSL scripts folder on the SAS Risk Dimensions server that you found in the Work.RiskUIProps data set as noted above.
- After the file has been placed on the server, re-start the SAS Risk Dimensions GUI if needed.
You should now be able to run the Time Series Analysis report. To view this report, right-click a time series market data set ► select the Analysis in JMP menu ► Time Series Analysis ► Run.
