Problem Note 47304: SAS® Enterprise Guide® 5.1 creates temporary directories inside the SAS® WORK library that are not deleted by the Disk Cleanup Handler

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It

SAS Enterprise Guide 5.1 creates temporary directories inside the workspace server's SAS WORK library that are not removed by the Disk Cleanup Handler (or, in UNIX and z/OS environments, the cleanwork utility). The temporary directories are created under random 8-byte character names. After execution of the utility, these randomly-named directories (created by aborted SAS Enterprise Guide sessions) remain on the file system. No warning or error messages indicate that the directories were not removed.
