Problem Note 47183: A force markdown by date that is in the past is erroneously displayed as effective in the last week of plan
In SAS® High-Performance Markdown Optimization, a force markdown by date that is in the past is incorrectly displayed as effective in the last week of the plan. Specifically, the date is displayed incorrectly as the date of the last week of the plan instead of the date previously set by the user. The incorrect date is displayed when viewing the date in the Force markdown by date field on the Optimization settings page of the Plan Properties dialog box. This issue occurs only when the date that is set by the user is in the past. Note that the force markdown by date in the plan list and plan summary views display the correct date.
There is no workaround for this issue. The correct date is preserved in the back-end data. The correct date is also used by the system during optimization as long as no changes are made and subsequently saved in the Plan Properties dialog box. If changes are made and saved in the Plan Properties dialog box, the incorrect force markdown by date is saved to the back-end data and used in subsequent optimization.
There are no warnings or error messages.
