Problem Note 47863: Using the remote SQL pass-through (RSPT) facility might result in inapplicable errors such as "YP unable to format"
When you use the RSPT facility to access a DB2 database management system (DBMS) in the z/OS operating environment, an inapplicable message might occur. The returned message does not explain the actual problem. For example, the message might be similar to the following:
ERROR: INTERNAL ERROR - YP UNABLE TO FORMAT MESSAGE.
There is no workaround for this issue.
