Problem Note 47805: Under-forecasting might occur when MISC_ADJ_TYPE=1
Under-forecasting might occur in SAS® Promotion Optimization, SAS® Regular Price Optimization, and SAS® Retail Forecasting when MISC_ADJ_TYPE=1. When MISC_ADJ_TYPE=1, the category demand for future periods is under estimated if there are new products in the forecast horizon, which results in under-forecasting.
There are no errors or warnings to indicate that the forecast is incorrect.
There is no workaround for this issue.
