Problem Note 47787: An “Unable to transcode data” error occurs when you are using SAS/ACCESS® Interface to Netezza
If a Netezza table contains a double-byte character set (DBCS) double quotation mark character (‘8168’x in SHIFT JIS),
the following error occurs:
libname msg Netezza user=NZUser pwd=NZPwd Server=NZServer database=NZdb;
proc print data=msg.TableName;
run;
ERROR: Unable to transcode data.
