Problem Note 47088: Filtering on a summarized character variable in the SAS® Enterprise Guide® Query Builder might result in a syntax error
If a numeric function, such as COUNT or COUNT DISTINCT, is used to summarize a character variable in the SAS Enterprise Guide Query Builder, and that variable is then used in a filter, the query could result in the following syntax error:
ERROR: Expression using equals (=) has components that are of different data types.
This error occurs because the Enclose values in quotes option is selected by default when the filter is being built. To resolve the problem, deselect this option.
