Problem Note 46964: Filtering Causes and Controls based on Risk Instances in Questionnaire-Based Assessments with SAS® Enterprise GRC

In SAS Enterprise GRC, when you use Questionnaire-Based Assessments, you should be able to filter Causes and Controls based on the selected Risk Instances, but you cannot. There is no workaround to the problem.

With the hot fix, if you want to enable filtering of Causes and Controls based on the selected Risk Instances, both conditions must be met:

Add the following properties to configdata.properties:
- monitor.qba.filterCauseInstBySelectedRisks.customfield.name=x_assessment_filter_ causes
- monitor.qba.filterControlInstBySelectedRisks.customfield.name=x_assessment_filte r_controls

Create the following Boolean custom fields for Assessments:
- x_assessment_filter_causes
- x_assessment_filter_controls
With these changes, two new fields appear on the Questionnaire-Based Assessment "Additional Information" page. The new fields enable you to choose:
- Whether to filter Causes based on the selected Risk Instances
- Whether to filter Controls based on the selected Risk Instances
