Problem Note 46926: SAS® Enterprise Guide® 5.1 ignores the SASSEC_LOCAL_PW_SAVE= option when set on a SAS® 9.3 metadata server

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It
As documented in the SAS(R) 9.3 Intelligence Platform: Security Administration Guide, you can disable the storage of client-side passwords by editing the SASSEC_LOCAL_PW_SAVE= option within the metadata server’s omaconfig.xml file.

The current SAS Enterprise Guide 5.1 release ignores this option setting. Therefore, users are able to save passwords locally.
