Problem Note 46832: Incorrect results might occur when processing an SQL procedure query

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It
You might get incorrect results after running a query with PROC SQL. This problem occurs if the query contains the following:
  • A join of two or more tables or views
  • A predicate (or part of a predicate) that compares a column from one table to either a literal or to another column from the same table
  • One or more of the following:
    • An aggregate function
    • An OUTER UNION operator
    • A UNION or UNION ALL operator
    • An INTERSECT or INTERSECT ALL operator
    • An EXCEPT or EXCEPT ALL operator

To work around this issue, break up the query so that it does not meet all of the above criteria.
