Three choices of optimization method might appear to be offered in SAS® Customer Intelligence Studio:

  • Analytical scenario optimization
  • Priority-based optimization
  • Priority scenario optimization

Only the second, priority-based optimization, is a valid optimization option offered by SAS Marketing Automation. A second product, SAS® Marketing Optimization, is needed for the other two optimization methods.

After the hot fix is installed, the first and third options above are visible in SAS Customer Intelligence Studio only if you have licensed SAS Marketing Optimization.
