In the SAS Add-In 2.1 for Microsoft Office, when filtering on a datetime variable with the Filter and Sort task, you can manually enter a date value, such as 01FEB2002, and it will correctly filter the datetime values. Starting in version 4.2 of the SAS Add-In for Microsoft Office, when using the Filter and Sort task, you can no longer manually enter a date value for a datetime variable. Instead, you must enter a datetime variable in the form of a datetime constant. For example: '01FEB2002:00:00:00'dt.
