Problem Note 46432: An "Error Please specify a file to upload" message appears when you try to add an attachment in SAS® Enterprise Case Management

When you try to add an attachment to a case, incident, or subject in SAS Enterprise Case Management, the following error message might appear:
Error Please specify a file to upload
The attachment is not added to the case, incident, or subject.
If you have the capability to edit a case, incident, or subject, then you should be able to add an attachment to the case, incident, or subject. But, this error prevents you from adding an attachment.
As a workaround, your SAS Enterprise Case Management administrator can add the following capabilities for you:
- Delete Any Case Attachment
- Delete Any Incident Attachment
- Delete Any Party Attachment
These capabilities prevent the error from occurring for you, but they also enable you to delete any attachment.
