Problem Note 46425: Performance is slow when you use the SAS® Enterprise Case Management web service to load a large number of financial items
If you use the SAS Enterprise Case Management web service to load a large number of financial items, performance might be slow. The performance is slow because the financial summary is recalculated for each financial item.
There is no workaround for this problem.
Click the Hot Fix tab in this note to access the hot fix for this issue.
After you apply the hot fix, a new attribute is available for the "ecm:FinancialItem" xml tag. The new attribute is called "recomputeSummary". By default, recomputeSummary is true. If you set recomputeSummary to false, then the financial summary is not recomputed after loading the financial item. For example, here is an ecm:FinancialItem XML tag that uses the new attribute:
<ecm:FinancialItem refId="cfi126" parentRefId="case26" recomputeSummary="false">
