Problem Note 46276: Closed stores are included in purchase order plans created manually
When you create a manual purchase order plan in SAS® Pack Optimization, it might include closed stores.
The issue occurs because the plan creation routine includes all stores in the selected portion of the geography hierarchy without checking to see if they are open.
As a workaround for this issue, you can do the following:
- Disaggregate the plan
- Sort the results by closed date
- Select the closed stores and set their planned quantities to 0
- Select ALL the other stores in the view and adjust their total quantity to the total for that delivery
- Optimize the plan
Purchase order plans imported via XML are not affected by this issue.
