Installation Note 46777: You cannot uninstall SAS® Enterprise Guide on the Windows platform after applying Hot Fix E66022win.zip
If you apply Hot Fix E66022 and then try to uninstall SAS Enterprise Guide on the Windows platform using the Control Panel, the following warning might occur:

If you then select the SAS Rapid Predictive Modeler 7.1 from the
Select SAS Products to Uninstall list and you click
Next, nothing happens. The product is not removed.
The Task Manager is another location that you can check. When you open the Task Manager (Ctrl+Shift+Esc ), click the Processes tab and click Image Name twice to sort the list. Look for the java.exe and the sdm.exe processes (or java.exe *32 and sdm.exe *32). If the CPU usage is at 0, chances are the processes have stopped.
If you then look in the sdm.log file, you might see the following error:
