Problem Note 46644: SAS load libraries allocated with EATTR=OPT might cause a system 113-44 abend in SASCP
SASCP is the SAS TSO command processor that is executed within the CLIST or REXX exec used to start SAS under TSO.
Any libraries allocated to the SAS TASKLIB parameter that is processed by SASCP might result in a system abend 113-44 if both of the following conditions are true:
-
The library was allocated with EATTR=OPT
-
The library resides on an EAV (Extended Address Volume)
These libraries are included in TASKLIB for SASCP:
LOAD
SASLOAD
SORTLDSN
LIBRARY - if used for allocating a load library
To circumvent this problem, do not use any libraries that reside in EAS with a SAS interactive session.
For additional information about support for EAV within SAS, see SAS Note 35858: "SAS® support for EAV on the z/OS operating system."
Support for the SAS load library residing in EAS is under consideration in a future release.
