Problem Note 46353: SAS® Financial Crimes Monitor 2.3_M1 maintenance release includes fixes for critical errors
The first maintenance release (2.3_M1) of SAS Financial Crimes Monitor is now available. This maintenance release is recommended for all SAS Financial Crimes Monitor customers. This maintenance release includes fixes for critical errors, as well as performance and stability improvements. Fixes in this maintenance release include, but are not limited to, the following issues:
A "Variable not present on table..." error message is displayed when running a scenario:
Error: Variable <variable name> not present on table <table name>.
As a result of the problem, the wrong table is associated with the scenario.
- When attempting to run scenarios for a specific time period, for example "Week" or "Month", you are incorrectly presented with results from all active scenarios.
Entering a mixed-case string as the value of the Name parameter might cause unexpected results. Alerts with a case sensitive Name value might not be found during investigation.
- The following error might appear while executing the Microsoft SQL Server script (fcm_alter_sript_ms_sql.sql) that is used to create and alter or drop the SAS Financial Crimes Monitor tables and sequences:
Error: Incorrect syntax near 'UNSIGNED'.
The following error message might appear when running a scenario that contains the same value for the By variable and for the Entity variable.
ERROR:Illegal reference to the array <array name> was logged in FCMMain.log.
When processing hash scenario "Alert_Gen_Hash" an "undeclared array variable.." error might be displayed. One or more of the scenarios might fail.
The following error might be displayed in the FCMMain.log file during the alert generation process. The error occurs when you reference an entity_variable value that has been deleted.
NOTE:(FCM) Exiting CONTROLLER.EXECUTE_DATASTEP_PREP.ALERT_GEN_ARRAYS.LOAD_ARRAYS

ERROR: Undeclared array referenced: NAME.
ERROR: Variable NAME has not been declared as an array.
ERROR 22-322: Syntax error, expecting one of the following: a name, INPUT, PUT.
The DB2 DDL script "fcm_ddl_db2.sql" might cause the alert generation process to fail with an error:
ERROR: CLI execute error: [IBM][CLI Driver][DB2/NT64] SQL0803N One or more values in
the INSERT statement, UPDATE statement, or foreign key update caused by a DELETE
statement are not valid because the primary key, unique constraint or unique index
identified by "2" constrains table FINCRMDB.FCM_ALERT" from having duplicate values
for the index key.
