Problem Note 46296: "WARNING: The LINETHICKNESS option is the incorrect data type" might be issued when using an ODS Statistical Graphics (SG) annotation data set
The following warning message might be issued in the SAS Log when attempting to specify the unit of measure for the LINETHICKNESS variable when building an ODS Statistical Graphics (SG) annotation data set:
WARNING: The LINETHICKNESS option is the incorrect data type.
The option will be ignored.
This problem is most likely to occur if the variable is defined as character and the unit of measure is included with the value. The SAS® 9.3 ODS Graphics: Procedures Guide, Second Edition incorrectly states that the unit of measure can be specified for the LINETHICKNESS variable. The LINETHICKNESS variable should be defined as numeric. The unit of measure for the line thickness is always pixels.
