In SAS® Data Integration Studio, you cannot suppress the index creation in an SCD Type 2 Loader transformation on either the permanent cross reference table, or on the target table. The default behavior is to automatically create an index on both the permanent cross reference table and on the target table. However, in certain situations, you might want to be able to suppress this automatic index creation.

Installing the hot fix provides two new options to suppress automatic index creation:
The default value for both options is Yes. You must change the value to No to suppress automatic index creation.
