Problem Note 45920: The SCD Type 2 Loader transformation provides no option to suppress index creation on the permanent cross reference table or on the target table

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It

In SAS® Data Integration Studio, you cannot suppress the index creation in an SCD Type 2 Loader transformation on either the permanent cross reference table, or on the target table. The default behavior is to automatically create an index on both the permanent cross reference table and on the target table. However, in certain situations, you might want to be able to suppress this automatic index creation.

Click the Hot Fix tab in this note to access the hot fix for this issue.

Installing the hot fix provides two new options to suppress automatic index creation:

  • Create an index on the permanent cross reference table
  • Create an index on the target table

SCD Pane

The default value for both options is Yes. You must change the value to No to suppress automatic index creation.
