When you attempt to create a new diagram in SAS Enterprise Miner Workstation, you might receive the following error:

While trying to read from the file 
"C:\Users\SA-RE1\Locals~1\Temp\SAS Temporary Files\_TD2345_JAXD2100W6_\Prc3\DiagramGetReportMetadata.xml" 
the following problem was encountered "NO_FILE".

When you attempt to create a new project in SAS Enterprise Miner Client, you might receive the following error:

Cannot open project. The physical location for this project has been deleted. 
Would you like to remove it from this list?

These problems occur when you use a user ID that contains a hyphen (-).

To work around this problem, do not use a hyphen in the user ID.

The workaround mentioned above is a solution for the problems described previously, and these are the most common problems that occur. However, you might also see the following error:

This server location is already registered for use, either by another project, or by another SAS application. Or user does not have permission to create project at this location. Try using a different name for your project, or enter a different path.

These messages might occur for one of the following reasons:

• Your license is expired.
• A product that you licensed previously is no longer licensed.
• During a SAS Enterprise Miner Workstation installation, you also selected a SAS Enterprise Miner Client installation.
• The appropriate operating–system permissions have not been granted.
• UAC (User Access Control) settings need modification.
