Problem Note 45809: SAS® Marketing Automation returns the error "Teradata row not delivered (trget): Transaction ABORTed due to deadlock" when you publish a campaign

When you execute or publish a campaign to the Common Data Model, SAS Marketing Automation might fail to publish and return one of the following errors in the log:

ERROR: Teradata row not delivered (trget): Transaction ABORTed due to deadlock
Return Status in process 16336:
SYSCC=100000
MAError=864
MAMsg=Macro[MATMTUDF]. SYSDBRC=[2631] and SYSDBMSG=[TERADATA: Transaction ABORTed due to Deadlock ]

When this problem occurs, the client, SAS® Customer Intelligence Studio, might also become unresponsive.

The behavior occurs when SAS Marketing Automation sends a request to Teradata to insert records in a table that is already locked.
