Problem Note 45789: The default database is used for the log file for Teradata Parallel Transporter instead of the one that is specified in the DATABASE parameter

When you use the Teradata Parallel Transporter (TPT) with the FastLoad utility after applying Hot Fix C71004, the log table is not created in the database specified by the SCHEMA or DATABASE options. Instead, the log table is created in the default database. An error similar to the following might occur if, when you use TPT, the default database does not have enough space for the log files:

fixed.
ERROR: Teradata connection: No more room in database TEST. Correct error and restart as an APPEND process with option TPT_RESTART=YES. Since no checkpoints were taken, if the previous run used FIRSTOBS=n, use the same value in the restart.
A current workaround for this issue is to use the new LOGDB= option to specify the database for the log. Click here for more information about this option.
