Problem Note 45497: PROC SPDO CLUSTER CREATE or CLUSTER ADD might fail due to incompatible IDXSEGSIZE

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It

If you use PROC SPDO with a CLUSTER CREATE or CLUSTER ADD statement to create a table, the following error might appear in the SAS® log file:

ERROR: Member table not compatible with other cluster members. Compare CONTENTS.
          MEMBER TABLE:IDXSEGSIZE.

The IDXSEGSIZE table is removed from the compatibility check when you create or add members to a cluster table.
There is no technical requirement that cluster members have a matching IDXSEGSIZE table.
