In SAS® Promotion Optimization or SAS® Regular Price Optimization, you might notice that negative forecasts can be generated for products that restart their life cycle during the holdout period. The negative forecasts are generated because the PERIOD_IN_LIFECYCLE partition is not realigned correctly. This issue only affects scenario runs and not production runs.
There is no workaround for this issue.
A fix for this issue is planned for a future software release.
