END OF SYMPTOM DUMP
It is possible that there are no error messages reported in the SAS log.
If further analysis indicates that this is happening in the ACF2 product from Computer Associates, the problem might be related to following issue documented by Computer Associates:
Problem Description:
The apar corrects an 0c4 abend in ACF9394A during tape open
processing. The reason for the abend is that the UCB passed
to the code is a 31-bit address. The code was running in 24-bit
mode. This was reported with ADRDSSU.
Contact Computer Associates for the fix.
