Problem Note 45307: The traditional Chinese version of SAS® Data Integration Studio displays simplified Chinese in the menu
The traditional Chinese version of SAS Data Integration Studio 4.2 is not completely translated to traditional Chinese. English is, by default, the language used for the interface. However, simplified Chinese appears in some windows, as shown in this example:
A hot fix is available for this issue. To access the hot fix, click the Hot Fix tab at the top of this SAS note. After you apply the hot fix, perform the following post-installation configuration. Run the configuration under the Traditional Chinese system environment with Traditional Chinese SAS.
- Open an MS DOS window and execute the command below to re-import the PackageTransforms.spk file:
call "C:\Program Files\SAS\SASPlatformObjectFramework\9.2\ImportPackage.exe"
-host your host machine name -port 8561 -user sasadm@saspw -password password
-package "C:\Program Files\SAS\SASFoundation\9.2\core\sasmisc\sasconf\databuildata\
config\Deployment\Packages\PackageTransforms.spk" -target "/System/Applications/SAS
Data Integration Studio/Common/產生的轉換" -locprop –multiLocale
Notice that the host machine name, port number, and user password might vary for different users.
Note: The “產生的轉換” means “Generated Transformations.”
- Remove any current transformations:
Note: This step is needed only if a duplicate error was encountered during the import process. This step should not be performed unless the user encounters a duplicate error. No import of spk by the SAS Data Integration Studio client is needed.
- Open the SAS Data Integration Studio client and navigate to the SAS folder:
/System/Applications/SAS Data Integration Studio/Common/產生的轉換.
- Delete all of the generated transformations that are in that folder.
