Problem Note 45264: SAS® Customer Intelligence Studio returns "The user does not have permission to perform this action" when you add or edit Calculated Data Items
Calculated Data Items for SAS® Marketing Automation are typically stored in a metadata folder in the SAS Metadata Repository. This metadata folder is "hidden"— you cannot see or change it using the Folders tab in SAS® Management Console. Unfortunately, when you use the Metadata Repair tool, the tool moves the metadata for these Calculated Data Items to an incorrect metadata folder, /System/Repaired Objects!. After you run the tool, you receive the following error message when you add or edit Calculated Data Items in SAS Customer Intelligence Studio.
com.sas.analytics.crm.error.client.ApplicationException
Caused by: com.sas.metadata.remote.MdException: The user does not have
permission to perform this action.
To circumvent the problem, download the Repair Utility and run it using these instructions.
NOTE: Copy the existing sasciutils.exe as sasciutils_console.exe.
