Usage Note 45843: Switching the indicator display type in SAS® BI Dashboard might cause alerts to fail for that indicator
After you have defined an alert for an indicator, if you subsequently modify the indicator to change the display type, the alert might no longer function. You can correct this issue by accessing the Edit Alert dialog box.
