Problem Note 45745: Selecting the action "Open with SAS 9.3" from the right-click context menu results in an error message
When you right-click a SAS file type and select the action Open with SAS 9.3, the file does not open in the SAS® Display Manager and an error message occurs. The problem happens after you run the Manage SAS File Types utility that is installed with SAS® 9.3.
You might see a message that says this:
The action OPENWITHSAS903 was not found as a valid action for object type FILE in your SAS desktop registration data sets.
Or this:
The action BROWSEWITHSAS903 was not found as a valid action for object type DATA in your SAS desktop registration data sets.

To resolve the issue, install SAS 9.3 software Rev. 930_12w10 or later and then run the Manage SAS File Types utility to reassociate your SAS file types. If you are unable to install at a minimum that version and revision of the software, you can work around the problem by opening the file from the SAS 9.3 Display Manager: Select File ► Open Program or double-click the file to open it in the SAS 9.3 Display Manager.
