Problem Note 45524: The "Generate E-File: button produces the error "exception occurred executing stored process. . ."
When you open an E-File in SAS® Enterprise Case Management and click the Generate E-File button, the E-File is not generated. The following error message is displayed:
Error
An exception occurred executing stored process. Please check the server logs.
The stored-process server log file contains this message:
WARNING: Apparent invocation of macro ECM_WS_WRITEXML not resolved.
This problem happens when your SAS tier is installed in a UNIX operating environment. The error occurs because a file has the wrong name.
To fix this problem, you need to rename the file ecm_ws_writeXML.sas, which resides in SASHOME/SASFoundation/9.3/ucmacros/casemgmtmva/. Change the filename to ecm_ws_writexml.sas (where "XML" is changed to lowercase letters).
Click the Hot Fix tab in this note to access the hot fix for this issue.
